I think it is great, the rust seems to make it all fit together.

I like it!!!

It's so pretty .....matches the towels well. I made a cloth shower curtain several years ago and still as good as day one.
I use a plastic shower curtain inside the tub.....they are cheap to buy......

That is an awesome shower curtian and it looks like it works fine with the roses. A job well done.

lalaland 09-18-2011 09:06 AM

I think the rust fabric totally showcases, and brings out the colors in, the vintage children blocks. Great job!

MamaBear61 09-18-2011 09:31 AM

My only concern when I see shower curtains made out of cotton (I presume you line with a plastic curtain to stop it getting soaking wet) is does it get mildewed from all the steam? I would be so upset if you made such a beauty and it was spoiled

It's been hanging about a year and no problems yet.

I just put a muslin backing and sewed around three sides and left the bottom hang free. I used buttonhole stitch for the shower hooks. Not sure if it's correct but it worked for me. ;-) ;-)
