I saw this arrangement on the internet somewhere. I cannot remember the exact source, but it was not an original idea. Thank you for all the ki d words, though. He, my parish priest just moved i to a free standing house from a teeny apartment connected to the church and I wanted to give himsomething special to commemorate the occaison!

We made a signature quilt for a member of our office staff who retired from our church. I was adamant that people practiced their written block on a piece of paper the same size as the fabric block, both of which included penciled in sewing lines. Some people were ticked off that I insisted they practice first. As it turned out, the signators were able to practice their spacing before committing the words to fabric. It worked out really well and everyone was happy with their contribution. Very nice quilt.
