Signature quilt for wedding guests
4 Attachment(s)
My daughter wanted a quilt at her wedding for guests to sign. We ended up using fabric left from things I had made for her when she was growing up and made blocks for the guests to sign. Then later made them into a quilt. The nine-patch blocks in the middle are some she made when she was younger. (Never could convince her to make any more and, since they were the same size as the signature blocks, she wanted them in this quilt.) I used other leftover fabrics for a scrappy binding. I called the quilt "Before God and All These Witnesses" as a reminder to them of the commitments they had made to each other and all the people who are standing behind them as they begin this journey in life together.

I made this very same quilt ( arranged blocks differently) for my mothers 80th birthday. We also took a bus trip shop hop where I had the other guest sign a block. Mom love the quilt nd it is a reminder of all the friends and loved ones who care about her
