There is a book: SLIVER QUILTS, 11 projects, Easy techniques for Dynamic Results written by Lisa O'Neill, published byC and T publishing. There is a way to make the slivers without cutting off the tips. The sliver is completely encased in the seam before coming to the edge of the block. This keeps your points. It is available from Amazon for Kindle for $9.99 and paperback $19.99. If my sliver is very wide I top stitch it to keep it flat.

I found this book in my library and look forward to trying this technique on a couple of blocks. Thanks for sharing this info. |
