similar to Summer Camp quilt

PaintMeJudy has been posting her Summer Camp quilts. They are lovely, but a tad busy for my taste. So I drew one in my EQ with solid blocks instead of log cabin type blocks. How do you like this one?

It looks more modern to me, so I left off the borders.

Love it!!!

Looks good.

I like the simplicity and crispness. Our guild does quilts for Veterans and we were looking for simple patterns to do kits. What size are the blocks and corner squares? Thank you!

Like the looks of it...I don’t have EQ7 but love what you can do with it.

Love them both - yours and Paintmejudy's.

thanks, copycat. the blocks finish at 8", so are cut at 8 1/2". the snowball corner finishes at half the block, but is HST, so cut at 4 7/8". using this info, you can make them finish at any size... block with snowball at half that size, plus the seam allowances of 1/2" and 7/8" respectively. the pictured quilt finishes at only 32x48, so add rows and columns to finish at the size you want.

I like this version, thanks for posting!
