Simple Heart Quilt
 

Haven't posted pics for a while, so thought I'd show you a simple pixelated heart quilt I made for my new granddaughter's big sister (aged 4). We had a little chat after I gave it to her, since I am her little sister's Granny, we decided I could be her Granny too :). This was made out of some new, some vintage fabric all pin-cord and flannel. The red outside border is made from a pair of 1970's pin-cord pants. Sorry for the pic quality. The quilt is straight, it just looks wonky the way I pinned it to the curtains.

That is very sweet of you to make her a quilt. Sometimes the older one feels a little out of it when the new one arrives. I bet she loves it.
