Many years ago, I made a red and black checkerboard quilt for my son in the Marines. He was on shipboard at Christmas time and swore he didn't need anything. It was hard to decide something to send so that quilt went over quite well with him.

I've been collecting FQ's for a red/black quilt but I may change direction and try a bargello instead. I really, really like yours!!!!!
