My sis made this simple and quick quilt for her granddaughter s wedding. I did a piano key on the outer sashing, then a blossoming flower on the large blocks and a wavy grid on the blocks with strips. It was pretty huge measuring 89 x 99.... her choice of backing camouflaged my quilting on the back. 4 1/2 hours later And almost 5 bobbins later,here it is

Nicely done! Your quilting and her piecing stand out on the front, while the material takes center stage on the back! A nice mix, if I do say so myself! I'm sure with that size, it will keep the happy couple warm for a long time to come!
