Woo hoo!! Finished the top today, not sure how I'm going to quilt it. Sis has more of a modern/contemporary/eclectic decorating style. Hope that comes across in the top. I chose the colors from her rug. Hope she likes it!

Incredible! Your sister will love it. It shows you spent alot of thought on her gift. And if she has hung around you at all, even if she herself doesn't quilt, she will know that you took alot of time to tell her how much you love her. You will make that milestone birthday very memorable for her for years to come. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.

That is cool. I want to do something like that for my brother. He passed away in September. It was unexpected. I miss him like crazy. It's hard to deal with. I am going to make a quilt out of his clothes and want to add pictures to it.
