Here's how I spent my week-end.
Scroll down and check out Marcella's table runner. We used the same pattern but you'd never know it. Her's is a lot brighter and springier! (is that a word?) Check it out! Spring Tulips Table Runner |
Yvonne, Great colors. Very pretty. I am so ready for spring!!!LOL
Tricia |
Ooooh! It looks even prettier than I expected! Good work!
I wondered what you had been up to lately. That is gorgeous. And a co-ordinating tea pot. Come on, Spring.
Yvonne, you give me hope that the sunshine I see is really truly spring coming up! I need to finish a few things to feel 'settled' again. But....I'm just tired of being inside. Maybe if I did something quick and easy it would help settle me???
It's really lovely. Sharon |
Oh how it makes me yearn for spring. Lovely :-)
Thank you all.
This was an amazing, energizing project. I'm so excited to have finished something that I feel like I'm on a roll now! Look out WIPs and UFOs! I'm hoping to plan another week-end project for this week-end. Keeping it simple! If spring won't come to the outside world at least we can bring it inside! Get out those bright colors and pastels and brighten that corner where you are! Let's hear those sewing machines hum. If that ground hog can't encourage spring to be early we can at least help! |
I love it! I adore pink and green! This would look PERFECT on the table in my kitchen. Do you need my address? I can send it to you. LOL! Barb C.
Ah, well...looks like your weekend was much better than mine! LOL! ;)
I love it. it is so Spring-Y! I wanna go hunt Easter eggs now! Very nice job!!! |
:D Your choice of colors is so nice- they remind me of sherbet. Yummmm. Something to enjoy for a long time and not get tired of it.
Hi Yvonne,
Tulips are my all time favourite flower and I LOVE your table runner. I think I'll be copying you! Gorgeous! Mel |
Ver Nice.................. :-)
very............lol
Mel,
This is such an easy pattern. My only recommendation is make your leaves a bit darker so they show. My sister's looks more 'tulipy' because you can see her leaves. Next time! Have fun. |

My version of Yvonne's weekend project: a 3-week project.
Quilting Sis, those tulips are so very very COOL! Great choice of colors. Every quilt project seems to have a mind of its own, so never worry about how much time it'll take. I've had uncompleted "weekend" projects take years!!!
What beautiful table runners!! Only problem...I would lose too much storage space if I cleared off my dining room table! lol
Great job both of you! sue |
I love both of them! I'll send a PM with my mailing address LOL
Thank you for the encouragement, you guys. It ain't easy keeping up with big-sister Yvonne! But it sure is fun trying!
Marcella, I love yours too! So colorful! Barb C
I think they're both beautiful. But I'm with ZYX i losed my work space if I had to clear the table. Maybe when I get my sewing room back from son I can do it. lol Being to think hes never moving out again

Oh, I love BOTH of those! You're exactly right... they barely look like the same pattern. But they both look BEAUTIFUL! Kudos to you both!!!
