I needed to use up some more of those leaders and enders I make while chain stitching and I had quite a few of them so this is the result of all of them. I tied this quilt because the backing was made using a heavier "waverly" decor fabric and I doubled the batting. I wanted this one to be thick, warm and "cuddly"!
Thank's for looking :-) |
It looks warm and cuddly!!

This quilt does great honor original quilting, imho,in the sense that it uses up scraps, was designed for warmth and cuddling, and is cute-to-boot. Great job!

I think this is a beauty...looks really cosy. Might borrow your idea..if that's ok. I want to try some decatur tying (I found it on a blog the other day http://www.flickr.com/photos/3133956...th/3471527020/ and this might be the project for it.
Thanks for sharing your lovely quilt...hopefully it will be quilt weather here soon....Autumn here and not a spot of rain! |

I LOVE it. I just love old fashioned looking quilts and you have captured that look!
|
One of the prettiest scrap quilts I've seen. I'm sure there will be a lot of 'copying'.
|
I'd like to take a nap under your quilt! Great job.
