Skateboard Quilt
1 Attachment(s)
Guild members made the skateboard blocks in the centers.
I framed them to make them tilt and then added sashing and border. it was quilted by a professional. |
The tilt really makes the whole quilt have such movement. Really cute.

great kid's quilt

I agree with Watson. Also, the off set on the block placement is a great way to encourage the viewer to look at every block individually. You really know how to make a dynamic quilt out of simple shapes.:o

I really like the placement of your skateboards in the quilt. It gives an authentic feel.
|
Love the quilt! The tilt and offsetting each row really help make this one. I think it would fall flat if it were just straight set and all aligned. Great job!
|
Very fun quilt! I have made the Missouri Star - Man Sewing version for a fundraiser and it went over very well :)
|
Fun quilt! Tilting blocks made by others is my favourite way to deal with blocks that are all different sizes.
|

All the variety of fabrics could make this an I-spy quilt. I like the orange sashing to make the blocks pop.
