My DD asked me to make one of these for GD. She saw one in a baby store but couldn't afford. It keeps babies warm without pulling blankets over their face or kicking them off. I used a fleece blanket from a thrift store.

Next I will make one from patchwork!!

My youngest turned 15 today..think I have one packed away that his 3 oldest sibling used and was a true hand-me-down!!

That is adorable. These are a great way to keep the little one warm but cut down on the chance of them getting tangled up and getting their bed covers over their face. You did a great job.

Well done, my daughter and I made several for her twins and we actually put the zipper in the side seam so that is zips top to bottom so there is no zipper tab near the baby's face.

Love it! Would love to figure out how to make some of these myself...was it difficult? Did you use a pattern, or just "wing it"?
