This is the bit I've been able to get done so far....I can't wait for school to start so I can get going!
still trying to figure out the layout |
I love that block, but sure takes a lot of time to do one! Yours are turning out so pretty.

Very pretty!!! How big is this going to be?
|
Thank you.
The original plan was queen, but I think it will be closer to a full. I'd like to add an appliqued border but that may be a huge undertaking since I've never appliqued before and this is my first big project....we'll have to see how that plays out. I'm just glad I'm not tired of it yet~I'd say that's a good sign :D |
your piecing is exquisite. and i love the colors. this will be a real masterpiece. someday maybe i will be ready to tackle one of these. it is one of my favorites.

Hey that looks great one of the quilts on my list

Great job! I was looking at that block earlier! Yes I know, I know finish what you've started before lusting for more projects. ;)
|
Oh that's going to be soooo pretty! Can't wait to see it finished.
|
Thank you everyone for the compliments....I can't wait to see it finished either LOL.

pretty colors.. layout is hard ! I have 3 done under my belt. baby quilt size. still the layout is tough.. i have found the newest way, and I admit a cop out, is to have a squared off edge. the sawtooth edge has slowed me down and I do not have that one done yet..
The hexigon "Quilt Patis" are a breeze !! Just connect as you go and layout is not an issue !! Hard to get sold by a woman in Columbus ohio ( German town ) did find some on the internet.. but bought the wronge size !! 1/2 in is the length of a side.. tiny tiny tiny !! Good luck !!! have fun !!
