Small Purses -
3 Attachment(s)
Here are some coin purses I made for some friends
They are 4" - 5" in size. I used velcro for the closure. |
Nice work! The squares must be so tiny! What a nice friend you are!
|
Nice -
When do you attach the velcro? Do you put the velcro across the entire opening? What do the backs look like? |

When I can't do that then a fabric that goes with the piecing. I don't quilt them. Too much work LOL Ya know S I don't know off hand if I did tute for this or not. I'll have to look. |
Very nice!!!

Thanks S and MQ2 I appreciate you both. I often wonder if anyone is listening when I post. LOL my insecurities showing
I was asked some time ago to post my trifold billfold tutorial and I am thinking I never did a tute on these coin purses. So something to shoot for some time in the near future |
That is the way I attached the velcro when I made some coin purses and cosmetic bags. They go quickly. You have done a fantastic job.

I put the velcro on each half on the inside liner about 1"- 1 1/2" below the edge before I sew each half together. I do the birthing method with each half. Then sew the two halves together face to face. Sometimes I sew them so I can turn them inside out and hide the seams and sometimes I just sew the halves together.

Very nice! I can be your friend:)

Great idea! I made some 4.5" blocks in my embroidery hoop. Now I know what to make with the extra blocks. I thought of a mug rug but I like your coin purse idea better. Thank you for sharing. Your blocks are fantastic!
