Just made this one for charity. I'm planning on joining a guild and will be making some quilts for kids.

Love it! Very nice scrappy.

The black and white borders and 4-patches set off the colors of the rectangles so nicely!

b.zang 03-17-2009 06:15 PM

I really like how you have used that black/white outline fabric for the border, and carried it into the quilt. It looks like the black outlined flowers are peeking through from behind the quilt. Very nice.

Very cute!

It may be a scrapy quilt but it has a touch of elegance! That boarder material and the squares you put into the quilt really set it off. Great job  The person that receives this is lucky and I am sure they will treasure it.

Thanks everyone.

I didn't notice it before, but you are right.

Very easy pattern! This is my second one and a good way to use up my scraps too.

I was going to mention the white fabric too. I really like the way it interacts with the blocks. Very nice sewnsewer.

JCL in FL 03-18-2009 07:14 AM

Very nice. I like the way the black and white tie it all together. Another one I'd like to try. The way it is I have to live to be 100 to try all the beautiful quilts everyone posts, and that's if I stop getting patterns now.

Harmony 03-18-2009 08:04 AM

Beautiful! That's one of my favorite patterns--I have yet to see a scrap quilt in that pattern that I don't love!

quiltsRfun 03-18-2009 09:16 AM

I like the way the black and white ties together all the scrappy colors. Very pretty.

sdeaaz 03-23-2009 07:21 AM

I am not always a fan of scrappy, but with the black and white... it is a winner in my book. Nice job.. Quilter1234
