This is a new group that will be debuting at Quilt Market this week. I'm told that it won't be available until April.

It follows onto their previous "road work" group, "Construction", which, sadly, is out of print. But it was wildly popular, and this group too is great for your favorite little builder.

I wonder if a nearly 22 year old son who was once Tonka obsessed is too old for a quilt out of that??? It's very cute.

My thought is that it's helpful to know what collections are "in the works"... projects like little boy/little girl quilts usually come with at least a few months notice... and there are certainly dry spells where there's no fabric that's exactly right, at the present time.

And most little guys do go through a phase of being fascinated with earth movers and other heavy equipment. Mine certainly did!

I like the colors much better than the last similar print they had. Can it be pre-ordered?

I'm waiting for better pictures, ones that will do the fabrics justice, and THEN it'll be available for pre-ordering.

Quilt Market is right around the corner, and then there should be lots of wonderful pictures available. What I posted here was a very preliminary sheet that Avlyn e-mailed me. I was just glad to finally see ANY pictures of this group. I knew that they had a collection like this in the works, but hadn't seen any images.

I don't know why, but I love their "boy" fabrics so much better than their "girl" ones. They had a girl collection out, but the theme was "shopping", and ... well, being a real girl involves a whole lot of other activities besides just shopping!

What lil or big boy wouldn't love it ?
