Here are a few pictures of the soldier quilts being quilted, backings made and labels for the quilts. Thank you so much to all the QB members who donated blocks, quilts (yep, totally finished quilts even!) and fabric. Y'all are the best!!!!!

Carol is supervising the quilting here - her studio and LA, while Mary and I worked on the backings and I worked on making the last of the labels. I could not find anyone to embroider the labels for me, so I bought a Bernina Artista from one of the ladies in my quilting bee group here and learned how to embroider by doing these labels. It is so nice to have a computerized system to quilts these (Carol has IQ on her machine) and the fireworks pattern is just perfect for these quilts. When all the quilts are finished, I'll post more pictures and I'll also take pictures to post when the quilts are presented to the service members. Could not have done this without all the wonderful angels here to donated so generously!!!
