Great quilts. I really like the Irish Chain. I have the same farm animal fabric that I bought at a garage sale. Wasn't sure how to use it, now I have an idea.

I like the white you used in the friendship stars. Makes the quilt look so fresh and inviting!

I like them both. What a feeling of accomplishment to finish UFOs

Sewbizgirl, could you please share the pattern for the DIC. I have some perfect fabric I like to use for a quilt and want to showcase some wonderful Irish themed fabric. Thank you! Stitch124

I have been quilting without guilt for the past few days here in North Mississippi, even though we didn't any snow. It has been soo cold! Will probably really need the quilt when this month's heating bill arrives. Love your quilts. Keep up the good work and be safe.

You have all been so kind! I'm happy the quilts gave you a smile....

Stitch124, my IC is actually a triple IC, as I had three colors and five fabrics in the chains. I just got out my graph paper and crayons and drew the layout myself. It's not perfect, but close enough.

I did see some DIC instructions online that I can share with you:

This is the best method-- with strip, then cut, piecing. Great shortcut.

Hey Oxford! No snow up there? It's so weird how this storm hugged the coast, right on up to New England. We still have snow on the ground here in Florence, but the sun came out today and a lot of it melted. Still too cold tho!

Thanks for the link. I have a total of 6 fabrics I could use, but need opinions on the one I should NOT use for this project. Let me know what you think. I love Quilterscache.com. They give the best instructions.

Thanks again.
