Debra, could you please tell me what size your blocks are? (One whole "pansy" [12"?] or just one snowball block). I have some gift fabric that will be super for this pattern if you allow me to use it! Think of it as one way to honor your design!

You guessed correctly on the 12" pansy. I used two different size triangles for the yellow and green corners of the 6" snowballs. I cut the yellow corners slightly larger to make the flower centers stand out. I can't wait to see what you come up with ;-) |

I think that your quilt is beautiful also. great job you have done with it too. I have thought of doing this pattern for I have one in one of my magazines but put it on the back burner. Now that I see yours I may have to make it now. Thankyou for sharing.

Gaudy is not the word I would use at all. It is bright, but what's wrong with bright? I have never been much of a snowball fan, but this is the first snowball quilt I've seen that I really liked.
