Snowflake Flannel Quilts
8 Attachment(s)
These quilt tops were made by my 85 y/o mother. She keeps me busy quilting her tops. She used scraps and extra blocks to make the two baby quilts. I added the sashing and polka dot fabric on the last baby quilt. I still have to quilt it. It will be for my new grandson. Pretty cool that his Great Grandmother and grandmother work together on his quilt. The last picture shows the two quilts washed and ready to be labeled and gifted. These are soft, cuddly "winter" quilts good for snuggling under.....anytime!!

What treasures! My Mom and I teamed up to make a bunch of flannel receiving blankets with crocheted edges. I'm saving them for when my grandchildren have their first babies. Mom now has essential palsy and can no longer crochet. I'm so glad we did this when we could!
|
Looking good!

My mom died 23 years ago today so she got to see only one great-grandchild out of 16 and she would have treasured them all. This is so special. When I first read the post, the song lyrics, "Go granny, go granny, go granny go" popped into my head. Add an s and there you have it!! Great.
