I agree with auntpiggylpn.....one on the lower left would make this perfect.

It will be hard to improve on this beauty but I do agree perhaps a small snowflake towards the bottom. Your Cardinal makes this rock. Truely you are an artist. Love your style.

Do you mind if I ask how many different shades of gray you have in the center? I made a "falling leaves" wall hanging that used at least 20 or more different black-with-white and white-with-black fat quarters. I love the effect you get with the graduated tones.

There are only two actual grays and a grayed lavender, a gray and lavender leaf print and a grayed purple print. I tend to buy odd colors.

Very nice, try a small one on the lower left side and on the left side bottom.....

I think a little more on the left side. Very pretty.

So then is your inner border a lavender? And the wider outer border, is it a gray lavender also? They come off as a very pretty, muted tone that I wouldn't have thought to put together. Odd colors are AOK - makes life way more interesting!

The inner border is a dark muted purple and the outer border is a fairly gray pupley lavender.

I'm thinking about adding a white piping with the binding.

I agree that there needs to be a snowflake on the bottom left. This must be Idaho. We have snow and flowers mixed quite often in the spring. Unfortunately, we don't have the cardinals. It's a very pretty quilt.
