Snowmen
 

I machine embroidered the Redwork snowmen on my Janome. The gray orange slices are leftovers, from a large project where gray was requested. Initially, I was not happy with gray, as I love lots of color. The gray has grown on me, I finally like it. I did echo stitching on the orange slices and stippling in the snowman blocks. I found the border fabric, with grey, a pop of red and snowmen, a perfect match for the blocks. The fabric was 50% off, plus I got a Senior discount of 25% off entire purchase, makes it that much sweeter. Measures 36 inches square.

I think you did this one extremely well. Some subjects don't want the bright colors some of us prefer.

You did a very nice job. Gray has become so popular over the last few years. Younger people really seem to prefer it. It's taken me a long time to learn to like it too.
