You made as many as I did. Got to where I could whip one up in just a few minutes. Takes longer to cut them out than to sew. I machine embroidered a few of mine to give a personnel touch. Gonna make the 3 & 5 years one but gatta cut down the pattern some so they won't get lost in them.nI als like the ideal of turning it around so you don't get tangled up in it.

What a great picture and I love that you got all your snuggles done! Years ago I bought enough Christmas flannel to make ALL our family pajamas for Christmas (6 kids, 5 In-law kids, and 4 GDs and DH and I! Guess what? I still have the fabric as the "great" idea I had never came to fruition! Maybe I'll get motivated and at least make some Greatgrands some jammies out of the fabric. Thanks for sharing pictures of your wonderful snuggles gifts.

That's a great pic. They will all appreciate them on a cold winter night while watching TV, reading, etc.

Donna, that's something I've never understood about snuggies. My DH and I used to make fun of the commercials constantly, especially the part about wearing them to sporting events. We thought that was hilarious! And we'd always say the same things during the commercials. My DH would always say, "Why not just wear a robe?". And I'd always say, "Wouldn't your back be cold?" I guess the point is that a snuggie is like a blanket that you drape on yourself while sitting in a chair or on the couch, but because a snuggie has sleeves, your hands are free to hold a book, the remote, or whatever.

We laughed at snuggies so much that recently, when we saw snuggies for dogs at WalMart, my DH took a pic of them with his cell phone to show his friends.

Now I have to confess. After making fun of snuggies for so long, I found myself wearing one on Christmas Day. My DD's mother-in-law gave snuggies to my daughter and granddaughters for Christmas. My DD and SIL are keeping the heat down in their home and I didn't realize it would be so cold and didn't dress warm enough. I was very glad to wear my daughter's snuggie! :-D However, I had to put a blanket on my back as well.

Bepeep, having said all that, I do want to say I love the pic of your family members wearing their snuggies. I'm so glad you posted it. Everyone looks like they're having a great time! I also think your fabric choices are perfect.

Loretta, it takes longer to cut out than to sew. It does take a little longer to do arm hole part. I made one christmas morning for Ds's girlfriend& I even embroidered her intials on it. Would be great for in experienced sewer.

They do go really fast...like Dedra said cutting them out and the armholes take the longest to do ....I did machine embroidery Christmas 09, their name and that it was from Papa & Me.
THANKS FOR THE NICE COMMENTS.

My daddy is really enjoying his. Mom says he lays on the bed for his afternoon nap & covers up with it.
