I made this quilt too for my grandbaby. I made it with a few alterations as my daughter wanted something in place of the bear, so a drew a bee. It was great fun to make and I sure enjoyed looking at your version--very lovely.

Very clever of you to add fleece and chenile. I think I'll do that on my next baby quilt. I usually back baby quilts with fleece, so it would be nice to have fleece on the front, too. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks everyone! I will be giving it to Ruby in a couple of weeks when we meet at Disney World. She will be 11 months old then. I made her sister, Lily (age 2 1/2) a quilt when she was born, but not as colorful. I thinking after Lily sees it I will be making another one. LOL
