Log Cabin, barn raising setting, and Harriets's quilting it adds up to perfection ! Congrads on selling one of your quilts. As for selling the second one.... do you need the cash? .. do you just love it and would hate to part with it? .... do you have a closet full of quilts and need to make room ... if so is this the one you would sell out of all of them?... Just a few questions to ask yourself before you sell the second.

BuzzinBumble 09-02-2012 05:29 AM

Those are so beautiful! Can't believe you could part with them!

Lori, you are adorable! I just enjoy making quilts and there is a small gallery in town that puts them in on consignment. I can always make another!

I think my fingertips would be pretty sore by the time I finished a miniature quilt, especially finishing at 1/2 inch. Your quilts are beautiful and your quilting is exquisite. Love those Log Cabins. Thanks for sharing.

quilter1430 09-04-2012 07:37 AM

Lovely! It must be hard to sell a quilt you worked so hard on!

ube quilting 09-04-2012 04:29 PM

Both are lovely. Very special talent to work so small.

peace

Jammin' Jane 12-04-2012 10:33 AM

Congrats to you! They both look wonderful!
I really like that pattern! :)

lizzy 12-06-2012 06:41 AM

They are just beautiful. If you feel comfortable with letting something that you apparently worked hard on go, then why not. Your work is so neat and with all that quilting, I hope that you feel good about the price you got for your quilt. Personally, I have given most of my quilts away to family and friends as gifts but there are a few that I would be willing to sell. Good luck.
