Oh you guys--I'm blushing here  Thanks all. Question answers and comments:
1. Yes SewExtreme it is all machine piecing using 1/4" seam allowances.
2. Rosyhf--boy are we at far ends of the quilting spectrum!!!, and we love what we do.
3. Is it hard to work on things this small? Like everything else it takes practice. Now I know of someone's granny who PP's beautiful little quilts this size. That I have a hard time doing. Mine are not perfect--but then perfection is only an illusion.
4. The link below shows my very first quilt I used 3/4" pieces (it's the second one--peach colored). I sewed it just to see if I could. Well I did and now I'm expanding. Not making HST this size--yet. There are several tips for sewing tiny pieces in the link which is why I included it.

It takes a lot of time to make these little ones. It is why I donate them to AAQI so my time will be compensated properly.

Thanks, T. Go for it--I know it would be lovely and beautifully sewn. Using the fine web foundation piece worked really well for me. :)

Leslie, thanks so much, I've just been looking at the quilts on the site and saw your cute as a button yo yo you posted earlier. For anyone who wants to see some little eye candy go to, but like any quilt show you can't see it all in one sitting! I'm sewing labels on my AAQI's while perusing!

I'm sure I will be doing some minis one of these times. I ienjoy detail work, and even in larger projects, the work I like best have smaller pieces ... so this would be the next step I'm sure.

The cow was indeed a patience lesson and perhaps good prep for your minis .... those one inch squares were enough, sometimes had a LOT of seams within one square.   I'm sad about her as I can't fnd any Fairs that have a class to enter that Cow!!!   Four nearby Fairs this weekend, and not one that she is eligible for entry. Still lots more to come, but after this, I am getting a feeling it's just going to be an exercise in frustration. We'll see!!
