Thank you for this mini-extravaganza of gorgeous quilts!

They are great. I LOVE scrap quilts. But why would anyone throw a quilt away!? I just don't get it.

I love the third quilt...the one with the dolls. Anyway you could show us a closer picture of the quilting. It amazes me how the quilting on the pinwheel block gives it a swirling look.

I can't understand either how anyone could throw a quilt out! Surely they could see the amount of work involved! Well, the quilter (lucky her) who found the old quilts in the dumpster, found 7 of them!! I do remember they were found in NY (of course!) and there were pics of all 7, but I only kept the one pic I showed here. That's all I remember of the article I read and the pics shown. Just couldn't believe someone would throw out 7(!!!!!) old quilts so I just had to get a pic!! :D :D :D ;) ;) ;)

I love this one too! The quilting is stippling in the off squares and it sures gives a swirling look in those pinwheels! Here is a close-up for you! :D :D :D
