Log cabin is very scrappy no pattern just sewed and pressed and cut straight line and sewed on more. It is a top now waiting for my Gammill to be quilted.

The five and dime is so easy you can use layer cakes and 5" squares. it is done in panels. 5" then 5"x10" then 5". next row is 5"x7.5" then 5" then 5"x7.5" You keep doing it for the width of the quilt you want. then you keep making panels for the length. the b&w has 4 for the length.
