Our sunroom may be 14 x 18 or 20, thereabouts. But, I only have one end of it for sewing, not even half. The room that started life as my sewing place and is now my supply room is 9 x 11. I felt closed off in there and moved my cabinet to the sunroom. I have storage window seats under all the windows, so the floor space is smaller than the actual dimensions above.

Thank you. I had to go back and look at the quilt again. My daughter and I made that for her daughter. It just kept growing. That was the first quilting she had ever done. Now, she's hooked.

I finished the labels, all 10 of them. Two were for my sister and the others for my quilts. It took me two days. Had to redo one of them three times. The needle kept tearing the fabric when the embroidery unit moved to another spot. I had to sit and watch the machine to make sure everything went okay. Had to stop it many times to avoid diasters.

I took my machine into the nearest Viking store, 45 miles away, to be sent off for repairs. It may take as long as a month. At least I have a backup machine. One I use for quilting.

While there, I did a little shopping in JoAnn's and got some of that gridded fusible people use for watercolor quilts. I plan to use it for two landscape quilts. And I got some bobbin thread and four Christmas prints, one yard each.

Then went to another small town to the LQS there, but did not buy anything. There sure were lots of beautiful fabrics. I just drooled and left.

Yes the Easy Pieces is one of Margaret Miller's. I have her book by the same name. I followed her initial instructions for cutting and sewing. But, the layout is just what I liked. There are so many ways to assemble the blocks. What I started out to do did not look good to me, so I rearranged everything.

Another reason I moved to the sunroom was for the light. I do very little night sewing since I really need the light to keep from having to rip out mistakes.
