Some of our ladies brought in their quilts and they were a little bit different so I thought I would show them to you.

Another lady, Jenny, is very artistic and has been experimenting with making her own felt pictures adding beads and using material that shrinks.
I think it is very effective.

The quilt with the Cranes on it has and edging with Ribbon Embroidery.

Okay, just got one more to do to finish off the centre of the quilt, but then another 24 more to sew. But the ones I have done look okay, they are hand sewn so its a bit different for me.

that is Jenny and also the Felt fabric picture and the green and orange felt one. Yes you are missing out.

Jenny is going to do a tute on making a cover for a book and embellishing it. so something else to show you all. that on the 19th May, so donīt miss that one.

It is a very good group I have to say and we have several retired school teachers who are very good at quilting and teach us a load of stuff. We are very lucky.
