These are some of the quilts I have made in the last couple of years. The Crown Royal quilt was made for someone else with their bags (just wanted to clear that up!) and the others were gifts for grandkids.

I love your second quilt most because I designed the fabric for P&B. It's called Autumn in New England. :-D

madelinkk 10-13-2010 07:48 AM

What is the name of the pattern for the second quilt? It is gorgeous!

The effect of the movement in the fabric in the red/black rolling stars quilt is wonderful!

Very nice work!

Great quilts!

jcrilley 10-14-2010 04:38 AM

I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. I have always wondered how designers keep coming up with new ideas for fabric. It seems never ending, and I'm so thankful that it is, and for their (your) talent!

jcrilley 10-14-2010 04:39 AM

It came from a book that my LQS owner loaned to me. Don't remember the name right now but I can find out if you want.

jcrilley 10-14-2010 04:52 AM

It came in the pre-cut package of material. I have it in my sewing room - I'll dig it out and let you know, but I think it came from the fabric manufacturer? P & B fabrics, Autumn in New England according to the designer who who saw the quilt on this post. I'll send you the name soon as I have time to find it. Thanks for your comments.

Quilt4u 10-14-2010 04:53 AM

I love them all.

jcrilley 10-14-2010 04:54 AM

I took the basic design from a pattern and class I took at LQS - then embellished with my own whims. I will get the name of the pattern soon as I have time to dig in my sewing room. Probably later today. My GS loved!!! the quilt even though he was hasseling his mother for months about where some of those shirts were.

Was the middle one made for someone from Heath High School? I'm a graduate, but many years ago.

Cole's Adventure. I added piano keys to make it a little larger.

I used the pattern "T-Shirt Memory Quilt" designed by Marilyn Robinson and distributed by Four Corners Designs. I got it at my LQS. I improvised on the original pattern. It was fun and my GS loved it.
