Beautiful quilts, and I especially love the butterfly quilt, which looks like an antique pattern. Your GK will treasure them, I'm sure.

I love sewing for my grandchildren! I had mentioned to my daughter that I might stop quilting and gd said "but grammy, if you stop quilting, who is going to make us all those quilts you give to us?" I have a feeling that I won't be able to give it up for a while. :D

This reminds me of lace trimmed hankies that my mother had. I still have some of her hankieS, may just start a small quilt or a small dresser scarf (depending how many hankies I still have) OR COULD USE CORNERS Of EMBROIDERED TEA NAPKINS---MORE IDEAS ---THANKS FOR SHOWING US YOUR ENVELOPE QUILT.

hi, not hankies, just eyelet with lace trim, the envelope is 11&1/2 by 11&1/2 and the flap is 11&1/2 wide and 5&1/2 long

These quilts are awesome! Great job! I am going to tell a funny on me. The first time I ever saw an envelope quilt was when I was a young boy with my great aunt at a quilt shop. The maker had used pink as the background on the blocks and sashing, and I asked my aunt,...."Why did she make a quilt out of women's underwear?" Good memories! LOL
