Love your work, string quilts are one of my favorites, but I have never attempted to use strings that narrow. Congratulations on a great set of work. piecefully, the old one

since everyone likes the fish quilts, here are the variants I made on fish, also another one I call Glowing Squares.
These are pieced on cheapo muslin, I cut squares the size I want. Start with a strip place diagonally, then sew another piece to one side, flip and repeat. Then the same on the other side. This is all on the machine of course. I stitch an L around the corners with the tiny pieces to hold them flat. This is how I did the basic block, like in the stars. fish appliqued on, scales are hand embroidered [ATTACH=CONFIG]122182[/ATTACH] |

I can't beleive I missed these! They are just awesome. Now I know what I'm doing after the holidays!! Your placement of colors as well as light and dark are spot on.
