That's so pretty!
I've gotten away from pre-cuts. They are so messy!
I do love fat quarter bundles though. That's my obsession!

I just remembered seeing a picture. You don't need a pattern; the squares finish at 6 inches, and the strips at 10.

Turned out beautiful. I agree, can't stand pinked edges. They are either too small or too big.

No pain, no gain right HaHa. The quilt is gorgeous. The variety of fabrics found in pre-cuts have there place.

Sorry it gave you fits, but it looks great! One trick for working with strip precuts that are pinked is to take one of those lint rollers and roll across the edges before you unbundle it. That will get rid of most of the crumbs.

I was told that when you open the package you should run a lint remover over the little bits. I only do it over jelly rolls and not all the time. I figure I’m going to wind up with stuff all over my clothes anyway. Your quilt is awesome!

Just as a caution: I can see that this would be helpful when dealing with jelly rolls, where all the raw edges are readily exposed. If you have strips packaged flat, it's not that simple.

Despite what ever problems you had - it looks great and I love your choice of quilting!!

It’s a beautiful quilt! How did you do that great quilting on a Tiara?

This is a fantastic quilt! Just don't buy precuts again! I'm not crazy about precuts and at times I end up spending more money to buy extra fabric to get the look I want. I keep telling myself that I'm learning from all of my mistakes, but I must be a slow learner.
