As many of you have seen I have been making lots of fabric postcards for the little grand who now lives in NC..well the 2 younger ones that live near here wanted me to make this sort of treatment for their bedroom doorways...I had seen this pic somewhere on the web and kept it in mind and now they want me to make them....will deliver one of them tonight and get the other one made soon
That is beautiful!!! What a great idea :D:D:D
Thanks....would be really cute for any of our sewing rooms too wouldn't it?!
You have been busy. I'm liking all your pictures. Keep them coming. This is really a neat idea
How cute is that? I am printing your post because I think this window treatment would be great for a childs bedroom, laundyroom, or sewing room. Thank you for sharing this with us.
That is great! How wide did you make the strips?
I cut mine only 1" wide for the doorways...i attached them to mini blind slats and will use push pins to put them onto the top of the doorcasing
That is so cute.......... would look great in guest bedroom with quilt to match........ Oh something else to put on my list of thing to do. when will that list ever end??????
So many cleaver people on this site. Scrapquilter |
Maybe if I made those for my sewing room, the cats would leave me alone with my sewing machine. I could dust them with catnip!!!

This is the link to the Moda Bake Shop instructions for this project. Made with Moda jelly roll. Enjoy! |
This would make a really cool shower curtain front also!
Thanks for sharing it with us all. |
Oh thanks so much...I had saved the pic but that was all so I am glad to have the directions again
Oh, I really like that! Just right for a granddaughter's apartment. What a neat idea!

Too cute, have to bookmark that one! Darn, wish I had not already bought sheers for the sewing room closet door.
Really is a cute idea for many places....i just love it
Thanks, my grand daughter will love this. Barb
I love it! My cats would too! I thought about my sewing room windows, but when I think of the cats batting and pulling at them, I'm not sure it's a good idea for me.
Very nice!

What a great window treatment.

Sue,
I like your style! |
Great idea and it looks like no sewing involved right? I suppose if you pink those strips there'd be no ravelling. Thanks for sharing! Might be a good idea for jelly roll leftovers...hmmm.
what a cool idea. i love it
hmmmm- need curtains for the sewing room. this would be really cool. I could get little wooden balls and paint miniature quilt blocks on them....
