Thanks for responses; I have decided to just leave it and already gift wrapped and sent off in the mail. I was afraid I would just make it worse. It would have been fine if I hadn't added his date of birth and weight on the label, but glad I put it on there. Label was already stitched and quilted down so couldn't take it off. I'm tired of worrying over it, too many other things to worry about.

Hoping baby does well, then he will be able to drag it around and wear it out and then you can make a new one for him.
