Spicy Spiral #8
1 Attachment(s)
My granddaughter's wedding shower gift (made by me). She decorates in gray and loves sunflowers. It wasn't a particularly easy color scheme to work with. It does lay flat - it must have wrinkled in transit in the heat. I forgot to take a picture, so she sent me one.
Pattern; Cheryl Philips' Spicy Spiral made with her 10 degree ruler. Fabric; sunflowers from LQS, 2 grays from Hobby Lobby and everything else from my stash. |

Love it; made one many years ago; need to make more I guess.

Sew pretty!

So pretty, I love your color choices! This pattern is on my bucket list.

Thank you, everyone. They are addicting. This was #9. I missed one in my count. I owe a grandson one, so #10 is coming up. Turquoise and gray for that one. I have a gorgeous teal batik for starters.

Very pretty quilt and fabric choice.

It makes me want to make that runner. Beautiful job!
|
Such an unusual shape ..... just stunning! What a wonderful gift!
|
Your table runner is very pretty. I love the grey and yellow combo. I recently made potholders, knitted dishcloths, and hanging dishtowels for my niece as a wedding present and I also worked in grey and yellow.

Fun quilt for the new couple and nice you chose 'their colors'. Those spirals are so much fun to do and you can really get a lot of fun design opportunities by the fabrics you choose.
