spicy spiral
1 Attachment(s)
This is my first Spicy Spiral, I can take it off my bucket list now! This was made for my niece who is getting married in June. I hope she likes it. The quilting was the serpentine stitch, so as not to overpower the design. There is a bit of a learning curve, and I learned what not to do next time. Enjoy.

Very nice! I've made 3 of this pattern and really enjoyed it...... after I just followed it step by step instead of trying to read ahead.
A lovely topper.
I haven't made mine yet. So what have you learned not to do next time? Please share!
Very pretty!
I just bought this pattern at the quilt guild book sale. Can't wait to try it. I have liked since I first saw one on this board.
Nice job! Great colors.

Such a great fabric selection--tends to be my downfall--but you have mastered it!

Beautiful!!! I need to make one of these too.
Very pretty!
You did well.
This is the first time I've seen this pattern. Love the spicy colours you used. Now I have to add this to my bucket list - which is already overflowing...
Lovely spiral. I enjoyed making mine.
Nicely done. This pattern is on my 'to do' list.
Wow.Great Challenge!
I really like your color choices because of their nice contrast in the pattern. I have done one of these table runners and plan to do others. I thought the pattern went together nicely. The simple quilting is a nice complement.
Nicely done. Your selection of fabric was excellent.
Love the fabrics
How pretty! This is so perfect for fall. I made one and posted it here done in red white and blue. I donated it to the diabetes auction and it did Very well for the kids. I bought another book by these ladies and plan on trying more when I get the time.
Very Nice.
Very pretty. I've made 6 and have another ready because I think they make great gifts. What not to do? Find a pieced strip behind the machine after you are finished. One has a larger jog than anticipated, but luckily, it isn't noticeable.
Spicy and spectacular!!!!!!
Great job!
Great fall colors. I have done one of these and have a second that has the wedges cut out and is waiting for me to do the final piecing. They are a bit of a challenge but the result is wonderful.
Marvelous. BrendaK
