I can answer that for you, the pattern calls for it to be stiched to the baking and batting leaving an opening for turning and then you turn it right side out and then you can quilt as desired. I put a bias binding on mine as I like that finish better than turning it. I bought my pattern and ruler from www.callalilyquiltshop.biz you can get the 9 dgree ruler there also. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

What size ruler do you need for the pattern. I noticed there are several lengths on the market.

I ordered from Callalily Quilt Shop on Saturday & the lady told me that the 9 degree wedge Ruler needed is 25 inches long. There is a 10 degree wedge on the market that would make your runner larger but I just went with the 9 degree like the pattern calles for. Cannot wait to get it!

It's really quite simple! Snip those "steps" off, giving you the curve, layer, sew, flip, voila! You can see mine, finished edges, here http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-68287-1.htm

:D You need the 9 degree ruler and the pattern, and 8 fat quarters ranging from darks to lights. You can use regular fabrics if you like. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay
