Spiderman returns!

So here is the back to my husband's Spiderman couch quilt that I'm working on behind his back for Xmas.... The front side can be found here....

I used the Urban Shades pattern off of the Moda Bakeshop but I changed it up quite a bit. I like my end result...

Now the dilemma... the front is 72" square... the back is currently 70" square... I could add a border but I don't think I have enough of the gray background fabric that I used and it's old fabric so there's no way to get more of it... so I can't add a border to the back using that fabric. I think adding a red border would put too much red in it but it might work... I don't want to make it smaller than 72" because I want to keep the Spidery border on the front as is.... any suggestions?

Imho, I think either red or the med. blue would look wonderful as a border. And hey spidyman is all about blues and reds. I love what your doing, I'm sure your hubby won't let anyone else use it.
