spiderweb quilt

I seen a picture on pinterest of this quilt and fell in love with it, so I went looking for a pattern or tutorial, found a great one at http://alamodefabric.blogspot.com/20...-tutorial.html after doing the first triangular wedge I thought there is an even easier way of doing this. So I made templates of the kite center, to mark the sew lines faster, then the side triangles too. Sewed 6, 1.5 inches strips , width of fabric, side by side. used the triangle to cut the sides cutting a quarter inch away from my template. then chain sewed them together. worked great and was so much fun. I took pictures of each step if anyone is interested in me putting it in the tutorials.

Would be interesting in seeing your tutorial. I have the wacky web from MSQC. but would still be interested in your tutorial. I have been playing with no tear paper piecing.
