I do the same thing that AmyG does. I have my pattern books that are special to me and that I use a lot 3-hole punched. (Kinko's or Staples or Office Max can do) Then I put them in to a 3-ring binder (can get the white 3/4" at Costco - 6/pkg for cheap). I get the kind that has the clear plastic front and back and the clear plastic down the spine. That way I can put the front and back covers on the outside of the binder and I type in large letters and vertically the name of the pattern book in Word and slide that inside the plastic that goes down the spine. This works great for Elly's Baltimore Album pattern books (and others) where I need to be able to take a pattern our and copy it or put it on the light box.

I paid $1.50 to have the spine cut off so I could run the pages of Dear Jane through the copier onto freezer paper.

We do this with our Bible Study books. It sure makes it easier to use them. Office Max also does this, if you don't have a Kinko's nearby.
