Love adding a little bee or bug to flower quilts!!
|
Hello there - the bee - well it is about 3 or 4 small satin stiches with 2 strands of yellow DMC embroidery floss. Then a needle with 2 strands of black embroidery floss taking 2 stiches..... stitched over top of the yellow showing yellow between the stitches. Then with the two strands - take one turkey stitch leaving the 2 loops on top and a small stitch to hold them in place. Easy peasy! and the look is so very cute - I like to add them whenever I can! As for a closer picture.....not sure i can help with that, but I will try.
