It's a bit rainy today just north of Houston where I live , but spring is making itself known. We've had robins and lots of birds for weeks, but I thought I'd share a few cheerful pictures that I took yesterday. Maybe it's time to look through the spring-tinted fabric....
About a mile from my home this pretty bluebonnet blooms alongside the road. ..the very first I've seen this year, This pink magnolia, or tulip tree, has been blooming since my husband gave it to me on Valentine's Day. I hoped a bird would perch on this pretty redbud tree but they're too busy at the feeders. |
Here's hope for us all! So pretty!

I'm amazed that you already have the trees in bloom. Over here everything is still "sleeping".
It's time for them to wake up! I'm ready! |
Your photos give me hope that winter will eventually end. Thanks.

Up here in NE Texas, the ornamental pears, plums and redbuds are so pretty. I've got to get out in the yard this week and start cleaning up flowerbeds.

I am jealous, we still have alot more snow to melt away before I will see any life,,,,they are beautiful,

Thank you for the beautiful pictures. Now I can dream in color imaging Spring just around the corner. I hope it is just around the corner.

Would they make a great design for a quilt, or maybe an embroidery design for your machine.
Nice pictures, I can kill a planet in a heart beat. |
Thanks for sharing. Brightens one's day, doesn't it? We have some daffodills, and crocus in bloom, but not much else yet.
|
Love the flowers!
