I went with magnetic on mine because I felt it would stay closed better, with the fabric closure it can come unhooked very easily as the bag moves around. If you go with the magnetic, a good tip I found online was to do tiny button holes for the holes of the prongs, that will really make sure they do not fray. Some people just use fray check, but I had a hard time trusting the fabric would tear beyond the fray check and just tear too much. The buttonholes were easy enough to do. :)

Thanks for the advice on the magnetic closure Rachel. I've never used one before so guess I will do a little research.
