I did the same with pastel flannel squares, but my quilting wasn't nearly as gorgeous.

You did a wonderful job on the entire quilt--colors, design,, and quilting. Kudos!

Is the top from sheets, or just the back? Very nice either way!

Dear Donna,
I made the quilt you have as your avitar. I took a picture of it when you first posted it and have finally finished mine about 6 months ago. Thank you. Love your new one.

Whitney, I would love to see your quilt. I still keep mine on my bed because it is my favorite of all the ones I have made, and the most time consuming, lol

Donna,

When I saw your quilt, I knew I had to make one. I could not figure out how it was put together and somehow I ran across it on a cover of a quilt magazine. I actually studied your quilt, but couldn't find where the block was within. I still haven't gotten the binding on it. I found the fabric on line and will order it. I only need 1/2 yard. I sent a close up so you can look at the quilting as well. I love this quilt. You never know when things just pop up and for me to click on your "spring scrappy quilt" title.

We spent a week in the UP last fall. One of our better vacations and we live in lower Michigan.

Wonderful quilt. Your quilting is so great. Do you have a longarm?

JoyjoyMarie 05-11-2017 10:12 AM

Love your pastel scrappy - it reminds me of Mama's quilt. I don't know if it started out pastel, or just turned that way with age and washing, but it touches my heart like hers did.
