Spring Tulips Wallhanging

Just finished up this wallhanging for my boss who loves tulips. I hope she likes it! It's my first time doing any machine quilting and I wasn't too sure about the wavy matchstick quilting until it was all finished and ironed. Now I think I like it. :-)

Quilt Assistant is an open source (i.e. free) program that helps you convert your own drawings into paper-piecing templates or helps you make paper-pieced designs from photos or other graphics. If you search for it in your search engine you can find the program and the guy who made it also has done some nice tutorials describing how to use it.

This is such a wonderful promise of spring- love your flowers and blue skies. (My daffodils got snowed on last week, but they are persisting, and more are on the way.) Your fmq also is quite nice. Happy spring.
