He has requested a quilt. So this is what I did for him for Christmas. This is the one that I added the border to after I quilted the main part. It turned out OK, I just sewed it on thru the batting and the backing, too. And I did the big stitch quilting it is really fast. I love the big stitch way.

At one time it was a mess because I didn't know how to re-apply a border after I tore the first one off. I posted here for help and you all helped me with how to fix "my mess". Thank you for your nice comments.

One of the lady's in my quilt group was doing big stitch on a quilt for her son. I used perle cotton (from Joann's)and a big needle (hand quilted). The process is also on here if you search for big stitch quilting. I loved doing it cause it goes so fast and easy. Instant gratification! ha
