beautiful work. Have to learn how to sack and wack

I have recently cut up two smaller pieces of fabric and was able to make some large hexigons and some smaller ones from that fabric. I really like what you did with the two sizes you made. It's a great way to combine them. I hadn't exactlly decided what to do with mine so thanks for posting this as I am thinking this is the way I should go also.

I love it, but I have never done one :)

I am semi- addicted to SNW! I make at least two a year, last year I made three. This is a large runner for my dining room table, it measures about 22x75. I've included a pic of the original fabric.

What a great example of S&W. I want to try that one of these days. A table runner would make a good starting point too.

I love it... love that pretty table too. You picked a great fabric to start with.

That is beautiful :)

I love these S & W blocks - very pretty! I always love to see the fabric they come from too - so fun.

That is a wonderful runner and a great example of the versatility of S&W.
|
Just wonderful! I have started one years ago, but I haven't finished it yet. It's so fascinating how the designs change from block to block.
